Various Admission Process in Pilot Training Course after 12th Science

If you have passed the 12th Science stream and want to join the CPL training program, you should meet some medical and educational standards. You can visit the best flying schools in India for filling forms and getting started with training. A pilot aptitude test needed to be cleared by the candidate in most of the best flying training in the USA for getting selected. This Pilot aptitude test is a process of 3 stages, comprising aptitude test, Interview, and written examination.

In written exams, you will find subjects like Geography, Mathematics, English skills, General knowledge, etc. When you cleared this, then the InterviewInterview would happen.

Candidates who will clear these two stages call for the third, i.e. last phase, the Pilot aptitude test. When you clear this final stage, then a medical examination will happen. After completion of all processes, it would finally prepare the merit list based on the performance of students in all the stages. This will combine the selection as well as the medical examination stage. Depending on merit, the deserving best candidates are selected, and they provide the pilot training for becoming commercial pilots. Based on this, let’s see the different exams that are available for pilot selection in the Indian Air Force.

Different exams for the pilot in the Indian Air force

Below we have mentioned two ways to start the Pilot training, which depends on the education you have taken.

  1. After 10+2: NDA

UPSC is conducting the NDA exam. When the candidate clears this exam, they will undergo the NDA training of 3-year. This will then follow by Air Force training.

  1. After Graduation

CDSE: UPSC is conducting the CDS exam for men only for getting admission into Air Force Academy. After training, you will get a permanent commission as a pilot.

NCC: If you are the holder of a C certificate from the Air wing senior Division, you can apply for the Flying branch in Indian Air Force. Only men will get an entry for joining the Air Force in this way.
